To ensure transparency, we demonstrate on this website how this game can generate a grand prize of one billion € through ticket sales. In the event that less than 10,000 tickets are sold over the duration of the game the winner's pool is funded with €10,000 to assure that the first 10 interim prizes of €1,000 each are guaranteed. All other prizes, including the grand prize are paid out on a pro-rated basis according to the terms and conditions of the game. The winner’s pool increases by € 16.60 with each ticket purchased. Selling 75 million tickets generates a grand prize of €1 billion and €240.5 million for over 1,200 additional prizes.

How the game works
Billionairio™ is a raffle-style numbers game, legally licensed by the Maltese Lotteries and Gaming Authority in accordance with EU gaming directives.

For each ticket you buy you have the choice between receiving the next available ticket number issued to your name, or choose ticket numbers containing certain numeric combination from the still available pool of unsold tickets of each series.
To win the Billionairio™ game, your ticket number must match the exact number, determined in each draw. Each ticket has multiple chances to win.
Billionairio’s winning numbers are not chosen by a random draw.
They numbers are based on the last whole digits of the closing numbers of major global stock exchange indices on the day of the draw: A list of the indices that determine each of our over one thousand draws is published in the Results section of our website.

How to Play
Each ticket costs €25. We are offering a total of 75 million tickets per series for sale.
If other players learned about our site through you and include your ID number when purchasing one or more tickets, we will credit you with €1 for each ticket purchased. You can redeem these credits with your next purchase of tickets. Should your credit reach €25, then a ticket will automatically be assigned to you in exchange for this credit.
Each ticket has a unique 8 digit number between 00,000,001 and 75,000,000. At the time of purchase you can either chose to buy the next ticket number in line that has not yet been sold, or purchase one or more ticket numbers that contain numeric combinations of your choice, if they are still available in the pool of unsold tickets. Throughout the series we will conduct interim draws. For the first 200,000 tickets we will draw a €1,000 cash prize among each one thousand consecutive ticket numbers sold. Also, for the first 2 million tickets we will draw a €10,000 cash prize among each ten thousand consecutive ticket numbers sold. Thereafter we will draw a €10,000 cash prize for each one hundred thousand consecutive ticket numbers sold. The big interim prizes: We will also draw a €1 million cash prize for every one million consecutive tickets sold. We will also draw a €10 million cash prize for every 7.5 million consecutive tickets sold.

Once purchased, your ticket number can not be changed and you can not transfer the ticket to another player. Since each ticket number only exists once per series, there will be only one winner for each prize, you do not have to fear sharing your prize with multiple winners, as frequently happens in lotteries and lotto like games.
How to win
Each ticket has a unique 8 digit number. We have identified 56 global stock indices and assigned the necessary number of stock indices to each prize draw to determine the winning number. If the last whole digit of the closing value of the respective indices in their predetermined order matches to your ticket number, you are a winner. Each draw will be held one business day after all tickets that trigger the draw have been sold. Should there not be enough individual indices available because multiple draws occurred in a single day, then all winners that could not be determined will be selected on the following business day. You can view the chart with the pre-selected indices for each draw on the results page. The selection and order of stock indices for the €1 billion grand prize will be kept in a sealed envelope at our management consulting firm. This draw shall take place on the business day after all tickets of the series are sold out or 12 months after the series started, whichever occurs first. As such a large prize can be an overwhelming experience, we believe it is best if the grand prize winner will learn about his fortune in person rather than through a posting on a website. Once we have notified the grand prize winner we will publish the winning number. The LGA monitors this process carefully.
Winning Odds
We sell 75,000,000 tickets and your ticket participates in three draws. Since each number is only given out once, you can be certain that you do not have to share your prize with other winners. Your odds of winning €1,000 or more are at least 1 in 1,000 for the first two hundred thousand consecutive tickets sold. Your odds of winning €10,000 or more are at least 1 in 10,000 for the first two million consecutive tickets sold and 1 in 100,000 for all tickets thereafter. Your odds of winning €1 million or more are at least 1 in 1,000,000. Your odds of winning one of our ten €10 million prizes during the interim draws are 1 in 7,500,000. Winner's Pool
We are selling 75 million tickets per series for €25 per ticket. The series is concluded when all tickets are sold, or 12 months have passed from the first day the series was opened, whichever occurs first. All prizes are guaranteed on a pro-rated basis only. If a series is concluded through a complete sale of all tickets, then the total amount of prize money is €1.2037 billion. Should the series be concluded because 12 months have elapsed and only 50% of all tickets were sold, then all grand prize winners are entitled to the pro-rated prize amount of 50% of each prize. Of course each interim draw that has already been concluded through a complete sell-out of its respective tickets remains at 100% pay out amount. Of each ticket sold, 67% goes directly into a segregated bank account at HSBC. UniMint, the Billionairio™ operator, never even touches these funds. Each week this account is reconciled and a monthly report is issued to the LGA as required by our Terms and Conditions.
Auditing
Throughout the series the database, winner's pool, pay out of prizes and determination of winning numbers are reconciled independently. Once a draw is triggered the a copy of the database is made and the winning number is verified by comparing it against the global stock index list. After that the winner is notified directly. Our original records and copies are made available to the Maltese Lotteries and Gaming Authority, which may at any time compare them to make sure that the database has not been interfered with, and that players' numbers are the same in both copies. The winner's pool is kept in a separate account and duly reconciled on a weekly/monthly basis.
